Description
As I promised, I finally got this starship update done, although I wanted to give up due to several frustrations such as unexplained duplicate frames, and missing frames -- evil gremlins at work?
But I was determined to push on, and although I'm not satisfied with the result, at least I learned a whole bunch of stuff by pushing my very basic simple tools as far as I could.

Incredible work and a great ship design.
Thank you, Lordi:-)
Excellent. And congrats to the stuntman
Hehe ... yup, that needy stuntman demanded to get some credit also!
Having watched and rewatched this awesome work by you Max, this effort by you deserves a standing ovation my friend...I can visually see Dorothy standing and clapping her hands with pride as to what the director has just done! :)
I can not go without mentioning also that I congratulate the "Studio Cook" for his ability to keep the actors engaged in completing this presentation on time and on budget. I feel that the way in which he did it is pure genius, as he kept the ovens running 24/7 in order to keep the entire staff well fed with pizza during production.
Of course this amazing job you did here could not have been done without the assistance of your most valued member of the staff...of course I am referring to Dorothy my friend, for her alone kept your creative spark alive!
Looking forward to the sequel! :)
Yes Johnny, without the studio cook this project would have crumbled, starved and died ;-)
And glad you liked it, even with all the little technical flaws. I'm considering upgrading to a basic paid plan to get access to pro-level video tools which should make my stuff far better quality and far easier to create -- we shall see.
I'm done with this old starship -- it was just a brief inspiration and basically a learning experience -- so no sequel here.
As for Dorothy, that's another story, as I'm slowly getting inspired to bring her back into my future history saga. Incorporating her into one huge coherent story (a full season) might be too difficult to pull off, so I might start with just short scenes from her various time periods and missions.
Thanks for your support :-)
Sometimes what we learn is better than a success. Excellent presentation and ship building. It's something to know how vast space is even moving faster than light is realitvity slow. 🚀🪐
Oh yeah, even light speed is way too slow ... that's why I had to come up with FTL quantum levels to make my stories possible ;-)
What? Except a female voice for the comp, no woman at all on the bridge? I imagine already the feminists trying to hurt you, or at least your ears by their crazy screams lollll Is it the hangar bay door on the tail of the ship?
But I see you had a new bodygard and assistant to help you ;)
And no hurry for Dorothy's story: she will give you all the needed infos when it will be the time. And perhaps even more than what you expected.
Lol ... there is plenty of women on that ship, but they're busy partying and dancing in rec rooms, or having other fun in private quarters ;-) Those men just want to pretend they're doing important stuff, since the ship can run itself 99.9% of the time.
And yes, the tail has the main hangar bay, while the saucer has it's own 2 smaller hangar bays.
I also got a bodyguard now ... thanks to a smart suggestion from a friend :-)
feels like a movie :-)
That's exactly what I was aiming for ... in a very short semi-goofy version;-)
