Description
Just a quick hello to everyone; I hope to be able to visit your gaalleries soon; for the time being my time is filled struggling with cubase, ableton live and "the difficult 2nd album"... But thought i'd drop in and share a little musical moment...
50 years ago this spring, George Benson hit the charts with what has become somewthing of a signiature tune for him, the grammy award-winning "Breezin"; which in many ways signposted his shift away from pure jazz playing alongside the likes of Miles Davis to the pop genre he's generally now associated with. The tune itself was penned by Bobby Womack, who had recorded it 5 years earlier with the influential Hungarian guitarist Gábor Szabó, a version which influenced Benson's recording extensively.... Anyway summer is on the way, and this is a quintissential summer tune for lazing with a glass of something cold in the sunshine... Enjoy!
Super detailed Gibson guitar freebie byThMaCr, reskinned by me... i have to say a blonde flamed maple ES335 has been close too the top of my (unaffordable) bucket list for decades!

Beautiful scene, Joe, this has such a wonderful free vibe to it, and it carries us away the same way she is being carried by the music. :)
