Description
As part of my preparations for the work I’m doing on this room, I’ve been going through categorizing, and backing up a LOT of stuff on these computers. I stumbled onto a bunch of photos from a few years ago when I was doing some photo work with a local modeling agency.
This photo was part of a modeling seminar held at a local hotel. This lovely lady had eyes that could hypnotize. I don’t remember her name, but she was a real sweetheart.
We have an appointment to see Jo’s Ortho surgeon Wednesday, and hopefully she’ll get something a little lighter and less clumsy than the ortho boot she’s been hobbling around with. We both are ready for this episode to be over, but it’ll probably be at least another couple months.
Things are happening in the background, bit by bit with the TNA story. Stay tuned. I hope everyone is doing well, despite all the ‘bull-you-know-what’ going on everywhere. Take care, and stay creative!

I know the feeling about backing up your work. I do mine in three stages to make sure they are safe.

Well Rod, I'm going to catch up on some of your uploads, going back from this one. I know you've been through worlds after every upload, so these comments may seem wayyyyy dated...but at least you'll know that I have seen everything, and, as always, loved and greatly appreciated all of it. Read at your leisure...I know how busy you are...
I remember seeing a number of your photos, and a few of your drawings. Maybe some of your fans don't know how broad your talents have been. I loved every one of them. As as a portrait, this is delicate and beautiful.
A brightliy lit face, with beautiful shadows (pink and red and crimson!). And a wonderful pose, resting on her arms yet totally focussed on you. You gave her complete freedom to let her beautiful gaze come forth. And the background is more of a whisper---so we will concentrate on her gentle, inviting gaze.
This is beautiful portraiture---in pose and light and shade and hue. This photo doesn't jump off the page so much as invite us to go inside it. The whites of her teeth and eyes (along with the strap of her blouse, etc) are as clear as a bell. Delicate, beautiful work, Rod. You are a fine photographer.
