"OH CRAP!" The Corporal exclaimed in shock. The sculpture had shifted. Glowing red eyes glared down at her. She jerked suddenly, pulling her rifle into her shoulder so fast it knocked the beret from her head.
"Hold." Sarge uttered calmly, his own hand hovering near his pistol even at her stared in shock at the sculpture to his right, it had also shifted its position. "If they had meant to attack, we would already be dead. Don't move unless they do."
"This is impossible. They make no sound." She whispered back. "They look so old."
"Maybe." Sarge glanced forward. "But maintained."
