Description
There's something magical about a new character and story being brought into life,
While the thrill of creating and setting out that story thrills me like little else, things are slightly different now,
All of my lead characters are young now and well young characters have another added thrill to them,
Where before I kept all of my characters kind of separate, now I love nothing more than putting them together and just letting things play out,
Whether you get to see it or not, this has become one of the biggest development tools I have in my arsenal,
They may all be from very separate worlds and have their own narratives to follow but in honest truth,
Having a few moments where they just get to be kids instead of heroes, victims or anything else, brings me as much joy as writing about them.
So a few images of my newest addition V, being welcomed into the fold by playing with Isla,

Beautifully done.😍 The images feel very honest and emotional, without slipping into anything overly dramatic. That’s exactly what makes them work so well. You can tell this isn’t about pushing a storyline, but about capturing real moments between the characters. Nothing feels staged or over-directed 😃 it’s more like quietly witnessing something genuine. What stands out most is how the characters are simply allowed to be with each other, free from everything that usually defines them. That adds a very human layer to them. Genuinely touching in a quiet, honest way.
Thank you, in truth I'm wanting to create poses where characters actually feel connected and that's more about subtlety than being brash and in truth I believe real friendship is never really forced and the natural harmony should direct a narrative not the narrative forcing something fake, so I'm happy that translates in image.
Forming friendships during childhood was simply a matter of asking another kid in the playground, 'Can we be friends?' And thus would be formed a lasting friendship.
Try that as an adult and you get looked at like you had two heads.
Life was so much simpler as a child - especially now that I am old and have lost some of my older friends or just lost touch with others as I don't get out as much as I used to.
Anyway, you seem to have fully captured that joy of new friendships with these images. Very well done. :-)
Thank you and yes it was but in truth for the most part I'm happy with what I have ;)
I can feel the joy and friendship in this, beautiful interaction between the two of them
Thank you, I'm pretty proud of my characters in any form but their bonds both shared and solo are what makes them truly special
Lovely work!
Thank you
