Description
My hunch about my Muse was right ... she is still on vacation, and now she's toying with me by sending me images from her distant travels.
This shows a slice of future history (stardate 2128) when a rescue mission locates a missing science vessel which was testing a newly developed Level-4 FTL drive.
The man with the torchlight is Gary Flynt, Stellarion captain's son, and the future father of Captain Alex Flynt of starship Procyon.

2000 Light Years From Home by The Rolling Stones ...
very moving ordeal fr them, kick azz atmosphere. great stones song also.
Thanks, Eek! And that song really grew on me fast ;-)
2000 years, but who's counting. lol Very good image.
Thanks, Lyla :-)
Fabulous, mysterious scene!
Thank you, Blue :-)
Super !
Thanks, Water.
Looks like Gary has also discovered an ideal spot for a "Rock Top Pizza" franchise ;)
Now you just made me hungry for pizza!
This depressing and dangerous planet, however, might only attract those few young thrill-seekers and pose a challenge to keeping the pizzeria profitable :-(
Am I imagining or this I hear someone mention a Rock Top Pizza coming to a near area near me! lol I hope I don't have to travel to what ever galaxy this group of explorers is on just to get a slice of the galaxy's best delicious Rock Top Pizza! :-)
LOL ... I see that Rock Top Pizza hasn't been totally forgotten :-)
Sadly, I know of only 3 locations of that eatery so far, but that could change ... who knows ;-)
That is one strong flashlight. Good atmosphere and mystery. - Bob
Thanks, Bob :-)
BTW, my small 16 year old 220 lumen flashlight can light up a tree 50 yards away. Today they have handheld flashlights that output over 20,000 lumens;-)
Hope the river below wasn't polluted with the ship ;)
A reasonable concern ... but those ships are made of very inert and non-toxic materials ;-)
I wanna torch like that and what a great scene....ticks all the boxes...Fave :)
Oh, actually you can buy a handheld torch like that today ... for less than 500 dollars :-)
