Not everyone is able to have a happy holiday.

I created an artwork with this title and a similar mood back in 2019. This isn’t a true redux though because I changed almost everything including the core concept, I think. I originally had the camera aligned to show the letters and phone on the left side, the depressed woman in the center, and then the tree on the right. I decided that view was just too boring and didn’t really show what needed to be shown. So, I swung said camera around a few times until I got an angle I was happy with. The concept of this one is that she’s so depressed that she doesn’t care to open her mail, doesn’t care to answer the ringing phone, or clean up the shattered ornaments under the tree. Also, she hasn’t cared to refill her cup of coffee!! Oh, the humanity!! In all seriousness though, I started to feel not so great when I started on this render. It made working on it much easier, but I’m glad to be feeling better today instead.

I think I understand you very well. In my darker moments, Poser helps me bring to the outside what I can’t really feel, but what my soul desperately needs to release. Sometimes writing helps, but most of the time it’s an image that simply has to be created.
I’m really glad that you’re feeling better again, and I wish for that to continue — that things keep improving and eventually become the way you truly want them to be.

Yes, I've always used Poser in my "dark times" to express how I feel or want to feel. I get to where I have to create something specific and I can't rest until I do. :)
