Hello, all..
Just taking a break from everything for a little playing with a character I cobbled together, and a bit of play with Apophysis, a fractal program.
Things are moving along, albeit more slowly than I'd like - but at least it's in the forward direction. I've been checking some things out with our local MicroCenter store, and they have some pretty neat programs. They have a "Build & Learn" program where you pick out the parts with a technician's advice depending on what your needs are, then you and the technician sit down and build your new computer together. Then after installing Windows (or whatever OS you're using), you fire it up, test it, correct any issues, and take your new toy home.
I'm looking at at least 1 rebuild with an emphasis on DAZ Studio and Blender. I don't have any prices yet, but I'll be heading over to MicroCenter this week, so we'll see.
I'm hoping to have Page 52 ready to post sometime this week.
Everything else here seems to be going pretty well - except for all the rain we've had. My back yard looks like a jungle!

Waiter! I'll have what she's having, I want to fly too. LOL! She looks great in this scene. I used to build PCs for myself and friends and Micro center was like a second home. Prices were a lot cheaper back then but then again top tier GPU's didn't cost an arm and a leg. Keep moving upward and onward!
Oh wow, this result is spectacular with that vivid apo around and behind this 'shining black beauty', Ron. Everything is dancing in your image, it has something of triumph in it too. btw, I didn't know there is an Apo app, I stil use a very old program on the p.c.

Just love the colours and movement in that fractal and how you've gotten the character to work with the fractal - or the fractal to work with the character. Brings it all together nicely.

@RodS I hope it is not too expensive for you! It would be real neat to have a custom computer. I've never gotten a custom one before so I have no idea how much more expensive it could be! Fingers crossed it's not a fortune!
