OK… This is definitely NOT the most artsy-fartsy thing I’ve ever posted here. But I had to do it. I’m just in that kind of silly mood.
I think I was out in the sun too long yesterday mowing and doing some outside work. And of course, continuing to fight Vivint makes me want to engage in random acts of violence. But no. Instead, I’ll just sit down and create weird stuff. So yeah…
I’m still in the middle of migrating files, and basically just seeing what’s actually ON all these external drives. And I have stuff that even I’m amazed I have! That pic in the upper right is my little 300-Gig Simple Drive. Lots of fun stuff in there..
And (as our lovely lady points out) some of the places where I’ve downloaded from. Ah, well….
I hope you all haven’t given up on seeing any more of the TNA story. It WILL continue – I promise. I had a nice chat with WolaverJS on the phone a couple days ago, and we talked about his story, and mine – and some really great ideas were tossed around! So stay tuned….

strange, glad i don't see these. my computer took a mild dive, screen went blue and data moved all about. came back saying start windows normally? of course yes..T.N.A. rocks..

I've only heard of some of those.
There is never enough space, storage space. No matter how big the drives get, terrabytes and more bytes,
somehow we manage to fill them up!

I used to buy there too, so shame on me too I guess. :) Diane's figures there years ago were amazing, and I found the community there generally very positive also. :) Hope you can sort it all soon. Still waiting on the TNA revenge post (make sure you work that moon in there somehow). :)

.... an old story > spend most of your life collecting "stuff", and the rest of it trying to sort and rid it "No AI" was artsy in this day and time... :)
Hi, I can relate to that very well. I've been rendering for several years now, and the amount of data is barely sustainable anymore. The problem for me is that I save every render (even pre-renders). It's actually easier to find them in my galleries ^^.

I am with you there, I have stuff from web sites I'd swear I have never even heard of! In my Mac Pro I have four 4Tb drives, two 2Tb SSDs and two 500Gb SSDs so there are a lot of places to hide things.
Glad there is more TNA story coming, sooner the better!

"Organize" what is "organize"??? LOL I've got five or more external drives of various ages, and I have little to no idea what all is on them! I know I've got one with files dating back all the way to Poser Pros and Zygote! I wish you luck in your endeavor, kind sir. May not be the most artsy-fartsy render, but it's still quite entertaining. :D Have a great day!
LOL Thanks, Lizzie! I keep trying to get all this stuff organized, or a reasonable facsimile thereof. But I'll stumble onto something that looks cool (and I didn't know I had), and end up being side-tracked into playing with it. More proof I'm just a big kid! 😆

Makes me wish I hadn't lost some of older files a while back. All these organized files just remind me of all the sites that aren't around anymore.
It is amazing how much you can collect after many years.
Well, I've collected a few TB of this stuff too. I think, I don't really want to know, how much I spend through all the years (alone on Renderosity and DAZ3D)... And yes, a few GB of that stuff is good old V4-Stuff, I don't use much anymore, because G3 and G8 are far superior (and no, I never did the switch to G9) However, I didn't sort it according to the Site, I got it from, but more from the subject or Model (G3F, G8F, Places, Props...) and in the respective Model-Folders the related stuff (Say, in G8F-Folder, there is a collection of Folders like: Characters, Clothes, Hairs, Poses, Morphpacks...)
Good Luck and lots of patience in sorting andrearranging the stuff... :-D
Oh, I hear ya! I don't even want to think about how much $$$ I've spent here alone, never mind DAZ and all those other places that aren't even around anymore. And more is coming... I'm gonna be a busy boy for a while... 😉
I have lots & lots of installer folders too, but categorised by model type instead of vendor.
