I enjoy creating artwork in Poser, Photoshop CC, Vue, and DAZ Studio. I also have a passion for photography, and have been actively shooting for many years. I've been using Poser since Version 8, and am also learning my way around DAZ Studio. I've been using Adobe Photoshop since version 4. I also use Vue 10. I frequently use my photos as backgrounds, and composite my 3D figures into them.
I have been creating my web comic / graphic novel "The Girls From T.N.A." since fall of 2009, and have been a member of Renderosity since August 2009. I've made a lot of wonderful friends here, and have been inspired every time I visit!
I will soon have a more complete biography, as I am updating everything. In the meantime, have a look around my gallery!
Thanks!
Rod

as natural as a real photo. great lighting and render Rod. glad things are going well. and Hope Jo is doing better. and waiting for next chapter of TNA.
Thanks, Steve! She's doing better!
A lovely image. Looks like a gorgeous evening. Glad to hear Jo is on the mend. Soon she'll be chasing you around.
Wonderful render, Rod, I love the colour in it, and the sense of relaxation -- despite what you've been going through. Here's hoping Jo continues to improve. Wishing you both all the best. :)
Nice to have you stop by to say hello Rod! It's great news that Jo is getting around much better...the road to recovery after a fall like that is often slow and steady my friend. The community awaits your return as well as that of the TNA girl squad...bad things are happening in the world and now is when they are needed the most! :)
Yeah, I wish I actually had that squad of hot (and well-armed) babes. I have at least one individual I'd like them to visit and have a nice little chat with..
Thanks for the comment!
This is beautiful work, and that's great news about Jo!
Good to see you here! Keep taking care of yourselves, health is more important even than 3D! Hard to believe I know, but I am reminding myself there too...
Is that sky another of your photos? It's lending an impressive light to this wherever it came from.
It is! 😁 That was a sunset a couple years ago taken from my front yard. Thanks so much! Progress is slow, but steady.
Great render
She's bathed in restful light. Totally chilled out, like I'm hoping that the two of you are especially afer Your good Lady's improved health. Stay safe kind Sir!
Thanks, Steve! Things seem to be headed in the right direction for a change. 😊
Great scene!!!
Great scene and sunset! Good to hear your dear wife is getting better.
good to hear from you!! Grand render!
Good to see things are progressing. The sunset brings this song to mind...

Wonderful atmosphere and light. May I have a glass, too :-)🍷
Superb work.
Very beautiful scene! Glad to hear things are going well.
First off, I'm glad Jo is making progress, and can walk longer distances without a walker or wheelchair. I'm so sorry she and you have had to go through this; it sounds like you both are meeting it head on with as much positive energy as you can give it. I hope she continues to heal, and that it's as little trying as it can be. It's really nice of you to post during all this---I know it isn't easy, when you're caring and helping a loved one day and night.
I read (in your reply to fireangel) that the sky is your photo, and from your frontyard. It looks like one of your photos (beautiful)---you even have a lens flare, which is beautiful in the image. (I have to say: When you said it was your "frontyard," I wasn't tinking clearly: I thought the whole IMAGE was your front yard (!), and I thought: Really???? Did I miss something in all your previous photos??? A pond, an exotic inlet, a tree from 30000 BC (that's one beautiful primal tree!) and those huge flowers? I'd never leave!)
Beth, like all your models, is done totally professionally, with a bathing suit that matches the light and dark of your "front yard" (wink, wink), and I think she's wearing a head band, which also captures the reddish hues of the background. Her pose fits right into the lines of the trees. Most of all, she puts the finishing touch on your paradise here. Honestly, you should've just titled this: "My Front Yard", and left it at that. And, in your description, say, "Man am I getting tired of THIS place!" Leave your fans thinking "he's lost his mind...") (Hey, even her toe polish is of a red that matches the background---yeah, I know, we're not supposed to concentrate on her toes!) You combined render with photo perfectly, as always.
I wish you all the best, Rod, and I don't think anyone is blaming you for your absences: Caretaking is a 24/7 job. I wish you both all the best, and complete healing for Jo. Lots of blessing to both of you!
Wow! Thank you so much, Mark! As usual, after reading your comments, I'm walking on air, sir! You make me feel like one of the greatest artists to ever walk this sad old planet!
Actually (here I go giving away my secrets...LOL), that lens flare is courtesy of Photoshop - one of my custom brushes, just a big, soft one.
Jo's been doing better, but she had a fall yesterday; not serious, thankfully. She was at the front door watching another guy and me getting my non-working riding mower on the truck for a visit to the mower hospital. She turned and tripped over a little rug by the door. She didn't re-injure her ankle thankfully, but we couldn't get her back on her feet with the ankle still being a bit weak. The guys from the nearby fire station are getting to know us pretty well..
Yeah, I wish that was my front yard! LOL
Thanks again, buddy! Hope your summer is awesome!
ein sehr schöner Render
Terrific image, nice lighting and great detail. Vivid colors. Beautiful work
Glad to hear that recovery is coming along for her. Very beautiful render, you captured the beauty of sunset in this perfectly
I wouldn't be sad to spend some time with her, in the sunset...with or without a glass of ? Great job and sorry if I have not commented on your great images lately...
Hello stranger Rod! ;-) Of course, so good to read that Jo is recovering well, and I know your patience has been tried immensely.
Well, when I see this beautiful red light in your photo, you can imagine that Beth, with her glass and all, longs to bathe in this light. Beth looks a little fragile, which of course has the advantage that she will 'shoot' through the water like a mermaid. But I'm still concerned, because if she doesn't hold on to that tree stump properly, she would 'roll' very quickly into the water. She's a stunner anyway! :)
Outstanding glamorous composition, brilliant render.
