one of 4 Lot Cops in our apartment complex cameras, they put them up about 7 months ago, they had a 5th one , at the time they did not on the 5th one set up, they just left it sitting without the pole and being set to the ground. someone hooked it up to their truck and stole it. one of a few reasons why our rent is getting higher. other is the illegal trash dumpers dropping of old appliances, furniture and general trash folks like using our place for their garbage. they know where these are and dump where the cameras can't record them.

Yeah, the bad guys are having themselves a hay-day lately. I guess that's to be expected with a convicted (32 counts) felon running the country. That gold-plated horse's ass keeps cutting funding for law enforcement, appointing judges and other ass-kissers into positions of power - where HE wants them. And WE are the ones that pay the price.

It's actually a little creepy to be surrounded by so many cameras. We don't have anything like that where I live. Does it really help?
unsure, since i can't view footage violence seems ok lately. no shootings like several times in past.

Cameras are getting cooler, but they seem to be everywhere. This is a really cool shot.
We got these in all our malls around town. How much it helps, is a good question. Cops seem to be too busy on other priorities these days, so its a sign of the times. Had not ever seen one on residential porperty though. It does seem the wrold is getting less safe day by day, or it always been that way.
Way late on commenting. Maybe they'd consider putting more inconspicuous cameras in the areas where the dumping is happening? Seems like a strange altered state to be living in for sure. (sorry for delete and redo, had a typo)

I knew there were some crazy rules and regulations in your place, but I didn't picture THIS thing, in my mind. It's huge---and really intrusive. And they have others in your complex too? If they wanted to get rid of thieves, why don't they conceal the cameras in trees, or someplace not-visible? This thing is almost out of a futuristic "suveillance state" film. I can see why you don't wanna wake up to this sight every day. A fine photo, thouigh---the pole looks really tall, next to the grand mountains in the background. I agree with rod that we can't expect things to be better when our own leaders are so corrupt. Fine shot, Steve.
