While enduring being the daughter of Lucifer, she departs into a journey to become Lady Death, a figure whose struggle is defined by the pursuit of freedom and self-determination rather than simple notions of good and evil. Beyond the comics, Lady Death expanded into animation, novels, collectibles, and video games. Her enduring popularity is particularly notable because she outlived the publisher that introduced her. After the closure of Chaos!
