Those last days, it was a scooter I saw in high grass. I wasn't interested in (I prefer my feet) but thought it would find soon a new owner. Hours later, I approached that area, crossed a boy with his father, and the boy had a scooter - making many noise but he appeared happy. When I arrived to the spot, no longer the scooter. So yes, a second life for it, after a probable fix by the parents lol
