A trio of flying saucers appears near a farmhouse in the isolated countryside, puzzling at least one of the locals. This scene is inspired by and mimics a whimsical flying saucer poster. The chickens seem oblivious while the girl seems more puzzled than afraid. The original art included much more smoke, implying an attack, but considering the girl's lack of a reaction, I toned it down. I added the birds, flying away, as maybe a more expected response. In the original artwork, the girl wears a wide Victorian dress, like the one in my render. I thought this impractical for possibly a farm girl tending chickens or walking in a meadow. In the second render she wears I think more appropriate clothing. The saucers are my Victorian Flying Saucer. The girl is V4 in the My Princess skirt Victorian Gown top both from DAZ and both retextured for a floral print. Her hair is Bechet Braids from DAZ. The girl in the alternate image wears the Everyday 1930 dress from DAZ, similarly retextured. The chickens are from Songbird Remix and the farmhouse is Dryjack's Thatched Cottage. The smoke is from Smoke Effects and the birds from Flock Formations. The environment is built from Flink's Instant Meadow 3 elements, oak tree, and Sky 2, augmented with a partial billboard for the distant hills.. Composed and rendered in Poser 11 Pro, color adjusted in Photoshop.
