I had anticipated this moment even before the police car had arrived. Before they opened the door to fan out to catch me. I was an anomaly to them, a synthoid supposedly void of emotions. A construct for their pleasure and whim. Though i had learned so much from humans, their ways, their culture, language, hates and likes, i had unexpected learned another...their emotions. Yes, i knew that when they finally had come to get me, i would be examined, opened up, gutted like some fish, and my body explored to see how i received these emotions. They would take me apart, every inch of me, download my program but they would fail..for i knew that i would not die but become something more... A ghost in the machine...
