I totally agree, all my kids starting working when they were 16 & they bought their own first [not a new car a very used car] car. They all have nice cars & get a new one every few years because they learned to work for what they wanted. Two of the three went to college & worked for their tuition & got scholarships, they got good paying jobs, the third one started working in a machine with his Dad when he was 18 because he didn't want to spend his money on college when he could buy a nice car & get his own apartment, he now works is aeronautics & he also makes good money but he had to work harder than the two who went to college & got jobs where the work is easier.
I was just 12 and started as a paperboy not what you would call a proper job but it give me money for the pictures, next at 14 a weekend job with a large store using the framed bike with a large carry frame people would ask for their food shopping to be took to their house,I found out my town had many hills. Then I stated my full time work at 15, school leaving age was 15, I learned the true value of money. I never had a car given to me each and every car I have owned brought by the sweat of my brow, I have never smoked and never tased what they call proper drinks, never tried socal drugs, to some I may have a dull life but it's a honest one and I can hold my head up in the street
I am amazed by how good of a story this is my friend, as teaching a kid the value of money early on is one of the most important things you can teach them among many other things necessary to succeed in life. Congrats on continuing to do an awesome job with all your animation art work. :-)
Very many thanks, I have never done art work training but with my help my daughter works in a graphic studio, it is to me, important to share knowledge and learn children from what I have so many times got wrong, I still drop by two Colleges to pass on tricks from the world of music, Why would I allow the years I have spend within the field die with me
