Howdy,
There is not a lot about me to know, I am a wife of 46 years, mother of three and grandmother of five. I got my first computer in 99. That was when I began my journey to fill my time doing something creative. I began writing my thoughts in poetry and in 2007 published a book of my poetry titled "Stairway To My Dreams." I learned how to build a web page and learned how to design my own graphics and I learned HTML. My friend suggested I put up some of my graphic designs for other to use so I started my Graphics By Doris site. In my quest to find good graphics to use with my designs I found Renderosity where I bought beautiful backgrounds and tubes from the talented artist here. I then got Poser to learn how to make my own tubes. I didn’t start to learn Poser right away because I discovered I had cancer so I had surgery and radiation treatments. When my treatments were over I began to learn how to use Poser last summer [2009] with the help of my friend Pamela Delli Colli. I have came a long way in Poser but still have much to learn. I want to thank you all for viewing my images and for your comments on my work. May God bless you all with love, peace & happiness. You can find my book at Publish America:

Oh, So Cute!
Thank you, that little girl is smitten with that cat & the cat is smitten with her. Love at first sight.
As your love for cats is so very well known the charge to you is free
That little girl & that cat belong together. Thank you for your comment.
A very emotional & well-done scene! The humane society is where I got my current companion in 2012! I have never been sorry!
Congratulation too you for being nominated Artist of the Month for May!
Thank you for your comment & for adopting a shelter animal. Before I had my cancer & then my automobile accident I worked with a shelter fostering cats & I love doing that, but I don't think I will ever recover enough to do that again. I will keep feeding the homeless cats in my neighborhood for as long as I am able.
I would take them all...
I had to learn early on when I started doing rescue work that I couldn't take them all, I had to help the ones I could because they couldn't all be saved. It broke my heart every time we lost one, but it overjoyed my heart every time we saved one and it got adopted into a loving home. Thank you for stopping by my gallery.
Each one tries to attract attention on his own way. When sometimes only an exchange of looks is enough. I think there are some places in my country where the pet shops (no longer allowed) changed into shelter windows to help adoptions. And the owner of the shop only sell food, toys... to continue to have a business. It helped some animals to have their new home, still under the checking of the shelter.
Yes the pet shops no longer sell cats here but the rescues do take them over to the pet shop for adoption. I used to work with a rescue fostering cats but because of my health I no longer can do that. Thank you for your visit & comment,
cats are a friend for life.love cats myself. i'll take the calico.
I love cats,I have a calico that I have had for eleven years. If I had the money to take care of more cats, I'd have a house full. Thank you for your comment
That's the song, I was a kid when that song came out
