Description
In an old weedy garden lived a little green caterpillar..
He started off as little egg and developed…
But like most caterpillars, he was born with huge appetite.
And so he ate and ate, munching all the yummy leaves and petals he was able to get to and when there was nothing left to eat , he would crawl along to nearest yummy looking plant he could see and start to eat this...
He wondered as one day, " would I just grow and grow or maybe explode if I ate too much ? "
Then he saw a butterfly high above him… " how lovely a creature " he thought, " to flutter from flower to flower, sipping sweet nature and tasty pollen "
Then he spots a spider, high up not far him, and he freezes still, hoping the spider mistakes him for a fallen leave..
Luck with him as the spider was focused on the butterfly above them.
So the little green caterpillar crawled slowed to another plant, in case the spider looked in his direction and so did not become food for someone else .
What happened to the little green bug after this, you may wonder…
I will give you a clue… like a certain ugly duckling, he changed into something beautiful with wings and became another lovely creature..
So ends my tale of the little green caterpillar…

Beautiful nature :-) imteresting perspective :-)
Thank you, Samara...
so beautiful
Thanks, kindly..
Great narrative and superb image...Spring means the best...heat, blue skies, great colours...but also the worst...insects !!!
Thanks - Not all insects are bad... Ladybirds eat aphids... Ant -Lions ( Lacewing Larve ) make traps to catch any ants & other insects.. Bees make honey and pollinate many plants.. The Silkworm, the larva of the domestic silk moth, makes natural silk that be used in clothes and other fabrics.. ..
The perspective of the work is really good.
Thank you, very much ! - Tatu ..😁😁😁
Beautiful image and great story!
Thanks Voske...
This is wholesome 😄 the whole "eat now, glow up later" arc never gets old, and you made it feel calm and kinda cinematic. Love the garden scale too - feels like we’re down there with him dodging that spider like it’s a boss fight 😅
And yeah, butterfly colors are wild - nature just rolls the dice and still lands perfect every time. Now I’m curious... what kind of butterfly did you imagine he turns into - something soft and pastel or full neon show-off?
Thanks again Dig' ... My guess - it will become like the 1 in the image.. Blue and Brown.. - Bit of Trivia... it is sort of sad by most caterpillar larva stages lives longer in this form that in their final Butterfly / moth adult form..
Now that’s a sneaky emotional twist 😄 all that time as a hungry little leaf-muncher just for a short season of flying... kind of beautiful, kind of tragic. And I like that blue-brown butterfly choice, classy not flashy. Was that species a favorite of yours or did the little guy choose his own glow-up?
To be honest I just looked for a butterfly model, prop and later remember i bought a garden spider model-figure , being that wanted to have couple ./ few other insects or small creatures in scene so to make the image more natural as there are many bug and other small creature in and around weeds and other plants usually..
Very nice image!
Thank you - Mel..
What a sweet story and render :)
Thanks kindly - APlus...
