The doors swung open silently at a touch. "That's twice." Sarge murmured softly. The Corporal glanced over at his perplexed expression. "Twice?" She asked curiously. "Ancient gates that open in silence. No squeaks at all for something ancient." They stepped inside, studying the interior. "Nice decor." The Corporal stared at the mechanical looking statues, two humanoid at the end, two canine type standing atop pedestals on either side of thermal chamber. Her eyes then looked over the glass covered platform. The form within seemed almost alive. Smooth skin, arched, pointed elegant ears. Alone hair strewn about her head. "Impressive." They both moved forward slowly, a strange unsettled feeling then seemed to hang over them.
