Description
On a trip to Iona Beach park to photograph birds, I didn't expect to see this coyote. Appeared like a ghost and disappeared like one too.

I had to look up where Iona Beach Park is! 🐺 Great snapshot!
Not a well known spot globally for sure, but it's popular among local photographers and huge among cyclists - well at least the route there. We don't tend to talk about the thing that attracts all the wildlife are sewage ponds :) At least they don't smell, not any worse than a bog.

beautiful creatures. the last true outlaws. everyone wants to kill them just for being what they are.
How true! They are vital to the eco system controlling other unwanted things like rats and mice. Many of us don't realize how urbanized they are. I recall watching a nature study with radio tracking and infra red cameras to show how close they are often to our homes and us without anyone even noticing!
