Hello everyone! Since I didn’t release a new song or music video this week, I thought I’d share a piece of digital art I created recently — something to fill the quiet space while I gather my thoughts about what I’ll be publishing next. I am working on a new song and music video, and I’m experimenting with a tool I haven’t used before. Learning something new always adds a spark to the creative process, and it’s been refreshing to explore a different approach. This artwork, “Star Flower,” grew out of the same energy that inspired my recent synth‑based releases like Cosmic Traveler and Celestial Architects. After spending time in that world of space, astronomy, and technology, I wanted to create a visual piece that carried that same atmosphere — something dreamy, cosmic, and a little otherworldly. And don’t worry — I’ll definitely be returning to the styles many of you know me for: country, love songs, and adult contemporary. I’m just having some fun with synthesizers and fractal art for the moment, letting myself explore before circling back to the music I’ve always loved creating. As for this image: I fired up my trusty PaintShop Pro (yes, the old favorite!) and started building the composition. I rendered new fractal flames, dug into my Bryce 3D library for nighttime landscapes and star‑scapes, and began layering everything together. The main flower in the foreground is a hybrid — part 3D generator, part fractal flame — blended and recolored using PSP’s hue‑mapping and alteration tools. I duplicated and recolored the elements in different sizes to create a glowing field of flowers beneath the cosmic sky. Note: This is not an AI‑only generated image. It’s a true digital composition built from multiple sources, layers, and hand‑crafted adjustments.
