Description
Found a blueprint drawing of Tami's ship which she uses for her star-hopping. I decided to draw it after I made its 3D model long ago, then many years later in 2018 I refined and polished it up using Paint Shop Pro.

Below the lower level, are they hidden place for "items" that are under the floor? ;)
The blueprint gives an idea of the size of the ship behind her in the image.
There are all sorts of compartments for storage and equipment and supplies :-)
Also has comfortable rooms for at least 6 people.
Looks like the ship from the classic movie from 1988 - Forbidden Planet. - Bob
You mean the 1956 classic? That was my favorite film of all pre-1970s films :-)
Their ship was also disc shaped, but I tried to make mine as practical and functional as possible.
Great-looking space ship!
Glad you like it, Blue.
Now I just need to find a way to build me a full scale version ;-)
Yes, 1956. I don't know where I got 1988 from. I was rushing. - Bob
LoL .... no problem. Rushing tends to cause errors or glitches with all of us.
BTW, years later that film looked even better in full color HD than on my small B&W TV --- 100 times better!
Funny, I only remember the color version. I used to really like Robie the Robot. - Bob
I never had a color TV until the mid 1980's, and by then they never aired that movie. Wasn't until a few yrs ago that I realized I could stream it in full HD :-)
You were ahead of your time in the design of this one Max, this one looks a lot like the UFO's that many have been seeing lately. I was wondering on how easy it would be for me to haul in some furniture in the downstairs compartment, do you think the door openings are big enough to place a 6 foot couch and queen size bed through the doorway without having to redesign the entryway. I may need a bit of help in moving in all my furniture into one of these ships! lol
OK Max i am just kidding as I am sure if I ever saw one of this ships near my neighborhood, I would not forget the experience of how large it is. I could easily fit all my home belongings in this fine ship design...great job my friend! :-)
Hehe ... although it's not very large, it's roomier than it looks :-) And most rooms have double-sliding, 4 ft wide doors.
There's over 4000 square feet of usable floor space for crew and cargo, not counting the bridge. There's also another 'freight' hatch that lowers down, and can fit a ground vehicle if needed.
Nice - I haven't seen V3 in use for years now =)
Hehe ... V3 was the latest and greatest back then ... and my most popular figure ... or was it V4? ... don't even remember exactly, lol :-)
