Thank you one and all. Too many people to thank. CleonXXI, yes I spent a LOT of time analyzing the phaser from screen grabs, because I know I'm not good at hardware and didn't want to look stupid! Even to the point of constructing a 3D model of it in Poser out of primitives. Should have worked but way to funky. Close.
