Description
I remember the way I first met her,
I guess in truth it would be hard to truly forget her,
This is Aglaia,
I based her on a kid I met on holiday,
We we're waiting to check in, standing in searing heat, this young girl was between me and my wife and her parents,
Bored, she kept walking backwards, eventually bumping into me, she just looked up and erupted giggling her heart out,
It became some game, her just laughing herself silly,
From that first moment, she always seemed to be there, watching and vying for attention, she was curious and mischievous yet unbelievably sweet,
Her infectious smile and laughter plays out in my mind every time write pieces about children being happy
This is Aglaia,
She is a test bed for a series about third world children, she also serves as a basis for a character from Scorpio's story too, the idea being to use differently age and clothed versions of her in scenes to fill out images.
Hopefully Aglaia can do her justice too.

Smile, what a charming way to introduce yourself. A wonderful way that almost only children possess. Adults sometimes lose it. Interesting description of how it inspired your work. Definitely a wonderfully infectious smile. Thank you for that 😍🙏 My favorite for today...
Thank you, it makes me smile everytime I think about it and well, she has certainly influenced a lot of characters and pieces of stories
Children are the greatest. They seem to instinctively know how to enjoy life - perhaps because they don't have the cares that come with adulthood.
Nice renders of this wonderful encounter. :-)
Aren't they just, I guess the world feeling magical is something we lose along the way?
We adults should remember and relearn the carefree openness of childhood much more often; then perhaps the world would be a little less cold and heartless 😊 A beautiful creation by you 💖
Pretty much, I think modern tech contributes to that too, experiencing a world where that isn't in abundance is an experience in itself, where minds still fuel themselves rather than being driven by the latest trend or vibe
I love the angle you chose to capture this render in, really brings focus and dynamic to her joyful expression
Thank you, was the intention, glad to know it works
