Description
The Orion spacecraft was conceived in the first decade of the 21st century for the Constellation space program, intended for a return to the moon and more. Constellation was cancelled but succeeded by the Artemis program, retaining an updated Orion. In this render a Constellation version of Orion docks at the Werner von Braun 1950s concept space station. If this encounter had occurred in 2008, the station would have been in orbit nearly 50 years. In the image it shows its age with faded paint scarred by decades of micrometeorite strikes.
The 1950s Space Station is in the Marketplace, the Orion is available from the 3D CAD Browser, and the background is a NASA photo.
Composed and rendered In Poser 11 Pro.
