Description
Here is one final classic vid I created in Bryce -- it's better quality than the older one, probably because I used higher quality anti-aliasing settings.
I almost forgot I made an animation of this ISS, which by the way is way bigger than the puny, silly, toy ISS we have in orbit today ;-)

Nearly professional looking animation and also the scene. I had tried animations in Bryce 5 at the time with low success and after some experiments I decided to skip animations. One needs to get involved in this and learn a lot to be able to come up with a satisfying result. Obviously, you mastered that. Congratulations!
Yes, animation in Bryce is tricky ... I got so rusty at it that I need to re-learn it.
Very cool.
Thanks, Lyla :-)
Excellent animation. The only suggestion for improvement I would have made was that the station should also be rotating on its axis. :-)
You're correct!
I just went looking for the original file ... and found it!
Now I need to remember how I did it, and see if I can improve the whole thing with a new re-render.
That is a very cool animation, the pov is awesome as the lights on the station come into view beautiful creation and stunning work from the era...Can see why your missing Bryce now :)
I found the original file and trying to re-render it better ... but it's not easy. Let's see if I can pull a better rabbit out of this old hat ;-)
Wow Max...you are showing us another artistic side of you...Max the animator! Now I am left to wonder why you stopped making these amazing animations. The talent and skill is all there for us to see...now all you have to do is pick up right where you left off my friend. The animator in you has always been there for sure! :-)
LOL ... let's not get too excited just yet!
I just found the original file and I'm trying to reverse-engineer how I made this. I want to re-render the entire vid, but half the stuff is totally a mystery to me -- the advanced animation tool in Bryce is quite cryptic, and I need to re-learn even the more basic things. Plus it's slow ... using only about 20% of my CPU power and zero GPU :-(((
Very nice animation. - Bob
Thanks, Bob.
Would be cool to see if you can pull that elusive rabbit out of the hat :) Should come up really sweet I would think :)
I'm re-rendering the animation right now. It's taking way too long ... If Bryce was optimized to use GPU, this thing would render in 3 minutes instead of 5 hours!
I think this might be the last Bryce animation I will ever do :-(
Never say never.....you know the prg and the render time gives you a chance to do other things while you wait :)
