Parrotlets are the chihuahuas of the parrot world.

This was inspired by my memory of the parrotlet I had way back when named Austin (1999-2011). He had a Napoleon Complex like no other. My dad had a friend, Steve, who was well over six feet tall, and Austin (coming in at a total 4 inches from head to tail) would get on the floor and chase him while squawking. It was so funny! Steve would just stand there, and Austin would act like he was going to attack and take Steve down. That little bird had zero self-awareness. It was so hard not to laugh at him when he did this because laughing at him just made him angrier and then he’d go after me. I miss that little jerk so much.
