I read a lot about JoePublic and his method without fully understanding it, and through trial and error. I managed to modify my characters. There were many failures, but now I can do pretty much what I want. To complete and improve it, I would need to learn about weight maps.
I explained my method in a thread, but the explanations weren't great. Elleque has a very similar method that he also explaine
I use two things: first, the existing scales and morphing Tool, then I finalize it with the morphing brush. I export my morph as an OBJ file, then reload it (load fullbodymorph) and use Match Center to Morph. I exaggerate my morph, smooth it, try different face poses, then body poses, and modify anything that doesn't fit until I'm satisfied.
