Dramatic juxtaposition between the fragile beauty of the rose she is holding and the destructive force of the nuclear blast in the background.
Thank you so much. From time to time, I like to respond to the anxiety-inducing effects of the world with beauty, presented as a form of resistance. Here, the space of the pipes is both a kind of bunker and a mental refuge, a place where the body doesn't give out. In that moment of fiction that accompanied the urgency of creating this image, I don't know why, but I kept thinking about the beauty of Ava Gardner.
I agree with PhthaloBlue but you know me and know I couldn't express myself with those words because of the language barrier.
Don't worry about the language barrier, dear Gisela. I believe it was the painter Hopper who said, "If I had the words to say it, why would I need to paint it?"
Excellent
Thank you very much :)
An apposite image for our times.
There are images that need to be made because they soothe, and others like these, too numerous around us, that make you want to scream.
