Hi everyone!
I am a Hobbyist just having fun with Graphics.
I have been away from this site for a very long time, but I am happy
to be back and look forward to seeing all the wonderful art from the
talented artists who post here at Renderosity.
I work primarily with Poser Pro 2012, 3ds Max 2012 and Adobe
Premiere Pro. It's older software but it works for me :-)
I mostly use V4 and M4 in all my animations. they are easy to work
with and do not take excessive resources away from my PC. I use a
Dell Optiplex 7010. It's a great computer and you can find them cheap
on e-bay.
While I do most of my own modeling using 3ds Max, I primarily model
the environments in which my Poser characters live.I find myself going
to Daz3d and RMP for all my character, texture and clothing needs.
I animate and set up all my characters inside Poser and then transfer
them to Max by using a Fusion Poser/Max plugin. I then set up the lights,
cameras and all needed textures within Max.
I render the animations by using a V-Ray plugin. I use a 2.35 image aspect
ratio on all my video animations. It just gives them a more cinematic look.
I thank you for looking at my Gallery!

I wish I was the pirate...not only because he's got in contact with this adorable creature but also because he's looking great ! This is superb, so charming, like a dream come "true" ! Happy Xmas
..perfect animation
Perfection. I like the way the ladder moved under his weight as he went down to the water. Their expressions were superb. Every detail was so good. Loved this. Merry Christmas to you and yours from my house to yours.
Impressive! The story ends with they lived happily ever after. In French : "They lived happily and had many children"... I am not sure of that!
absolutely amazing from the first few seconds coming up to the pirate ship. love meeting of them. very pretty redhead . love your animations dear Johnny. so top notch. 10+
Wow ... just Wow!
I think this vid could easily qualify as one of those world-famous award-winning shorts :-)
And Happy Holidays, Johnny!
It’s absolutely fabulous as an animation and as a story, the siren’s movement is very fluid and her smile is enchanting.the all video is amazingly well done ¨!! Merry Christmas and very Happy Creative New Year !
A romantic story between a pirate and a mermaid, absolutely fantastic and super animation. BRAVO Johnny👏👍🙋♂️
Wow, my jaw literally dropped! You've really outdone yourself! Is this the supposedly not-so-great rough cut you told me about?
Then I'm really looking forward to the "full version"... Brilliant work, my friend! How you went from a simple starting image to Captain Jack Sparrow and the red-haired beauty is simply amazing! 🌞👍
Johnny , this is so awesome !
Yo ho, yo ho, a pirate's life for me!
This is wonderful work. A very merry Christmas to you and all your loved ones!
Great. Especially like the beginning, she swims very well.
OMG ! It sure is a nice video you made ! i like your mermaid and your pirate looks handsome too ! The sound is just great too !
At least a pirate who waits before to shot then ask questions. I find him a little air of Orlando Bloom on a capture lolll Now to see more on their adventures, after that cordial meeting
Merry Christmas to you as well!
Wonderful work!!!
This current year ends up most beautifully with this state-of-the-art , moving and sublime video that partakes of many a spectator this hidden sense of everyone's childhood memories that defy the sad and rational vision of our troubled material word.
~•:¨¨:•°-:¦Happy (...though slightly belated!) Christmas to you, wishing you and your dear ones a Happy New and artistic Year ! ¦:-°•:¨¨:•~
Another big Wow from me...this one is dominated, in the end, by closeups of the two people (well, a human and mermaid), just feeling each other out, peering into each other...you have her smiling, then pondering, then smiling, then just soaking him in...no conclusion, just the sensitive meeting of two different souls...and in the end, she smiles deeply and then swims away. I like that you don't try to sum it up and make a big ending, you just let the magic of their meeting linger. Also, her striking red hair really stands out compared to the stark black of the ship. This is apparent as soon as she pops out of the water and we see her hair in contrast to the black of the ship. (The skull helps too!)
And her swimming is also very cinematic, and smooth. A beautiful short (which I know takes a lot of time and effort), which is filled with connection and promise, and ends in glow. Wonderful piece for the holiday. I hope yours was loving and blessed.
Entranced, enthralled by the beauty, the movement and the cam angle. Well thought out and an easy, entertaining watch that makes you want to see more...Superb :)
