Description
Once inside the secure perimeter, it was surprisingly easy to get around -- likely due to my fake identity as an undercover intelligence officer.
I casually strolled about, looking for a way into this colossal object of mystery -- and I found it. Up on the hill, behind some boulders, was a crack in the outer hull that looked big enough and accessible.
I managed to squeeze through, and I was in!
After an hour of exploring the strange dark chambers and collecting several small objects of interest, while being careful not to push any buttons, I decided to get the heck out before my luck ran out.

Quickly. get out of there as soon as possible, while unbeknown to you...the silent intruder alarm has been activated and the security overnight protection crew will soon be dropping by for a not so friendly visit with him.
This environment looks like the type of dark place that Steff_7 likes to have his characters hang out in. It's dark and not well lit and perfect for him...are you sure we will not soon find out perhaps one of his characters is also in here. I will look forward to you letting us know what objects were recovered from this site if your guy can get out of there safely. :-)
LOL .... not to worry, Johnny -- I'm safe for now ;-)
These are just very short 'filler' stories. The real story that's slowly churning way in the back of my mind is my Dorothy prequel .... a seemingly impossible task which I hope to create one of these days :-)
MAybe you should have pushed buttons anyway ;)
LOL ... a mighty risky thing to do !
Fabulous scene with a powerful feel of foreboding!
Thanks Blue :-)
Just the right amount of light and color. Very cinematic looking. - Bob
Thank you, Bob :-)
Excellent !
OK.... That thing has been buried for how long? And there are still lights on here and there? Yeah - best not to touch anything in there... No telling what horrors you might activate!
Absolutely killer interior views you've treated us to here, good sir! Excellent lighting as well!
Actually that crash is supposed to be quite recent, a casualty of some battle. Most of the light is seeping through torn holes, but a few power cells still hold some power here and there.
That last image is my favorite, the seats and controls give it a very familiar feel, till you step back outside and find out it's the size of a sports stadium. I'd be opening lockers and drawers ... looking for some "take away" clues before I was discovered. Some cell phone picks wouldn't go to waste either.
Yeah, it's big for sure, with lots of different compartments whose cargo may have been looted by their enemy long ago. But I still managed to pick-up as many items as I could carry ;-)
Fave, love, like, wanna be there, the light, the dark.....did I mention I love it and this is an amazing balloon, even has a hull :)
That last image is simply superb and gets my scifi muse sitting up and paying attention....looking forward as always my friend :)
Thanks, Steff ... glad you like the top-secret 'balloon'.
Just don't tell anyone you saw it ... to be on the safe side, ya know;-)
Awesome science fiction image. It reminds me of the time when I used to play Bungie's Marathon Infinity.
Thanks, Eugenius :-)
