Description
(The title refers more to the over all color scheme. No one in their right mind would use gold in the manufacture of actual armor. Maybe possibly plated gold for ceremonial armor, but never for the "working" gear.)
I did consider adding a cloak which I think would have made the composition balance out a bit better, but I'm not sure cloaks are of any practical use to fighters either.
Anyway, here's a fantasy pic with a (not very accurate) nod towards ancient Greece.

More nearly Roman than Greek, I think, but nicely done in any case.
Thanks. Put that down to poor research on my part. I was aiming towards a Greek hoplite look, but there’s a reason I tend to class these pics as fantasy :)
