Abby was spending the last sunny week of summer working in her garden. It always relaxed her, plus she enjoyed having friends over to entertain outside, and wanted it to look nice. She was working on repainting her garden furniture, when she was startled by a strange humming sound. Abby snuck over to her largest flower bed to take a peek, thinking it was some kind of bird. She was shocked at what it actually was - a beautiful faerie, humming happily among her flowers! The surprised gardener crouched down low, not wanting to frighten her. The faerie fluttered around for a few minutes, then flew off into the forest behind the house. Abby smiled as she watched the tiny creature leave. This would be a summer to remember!
