Description
"Racks and racks of clothing to explore." Dr.Mala was explaining to Avarris the fundamentals of shopping with excitement evident in her voice. "Shoes of all makes. And then there is the beauty aids." She finally hesitated for a moment. "And so much more than I can details. You're going to have a wonderful time."
"This shopping sounds like a great deal of fun." Avarris stated with growing enthusiasm. Having never been on such an event before.
"Oh," Mala waved a hand in the air. "You are going to a wonderful time."
La'Ahna grimaced slightly as she listened while leading the two women through the station. Their first stop would be medical in order to update additional medical supplies for the ship, and then they would meet the other women on the promenade deck to beginning this shopping event.
She was starting to get the impression that her Captain had given her a rather tasking assignment.

i don't know about you, but to me shopping with women is worse than a 12 hour shift at work.
@coyoteviper Well working means money coming in, shopping means money going out though on the other hand, if you get things on a good price that is always something...my shopping tends to involve buying chocolate on sale :D
lol. chocolate is always a good purchase. not mentioning my girlfriends shopping habits, lol. i think she touches everything in every isle, come out with, usually, one little bag...two hours. i go in, i know what i am after, get it, and back out in less than ten minutes. when she shops, i either stay home or sleep in the truck. if i go in with her; she knows she's going to get embarrassed. like clipping an animal tail to the back of her blouse, or a balloon. setting every alarm clock...i get bored. lol Never understand how some women can simply walk around a store for two hours. guess that part of the difference between man and women. but....chocolate is still a good purchase.
@coyoteviper It's hard for me to get and out of a store quickly but usually it's more because they keep moving things on me, heh, heh.
oh yes. i know that. its to keep you looking, and maybe gather a few additional items while searching for what's on your list. its a corporate strategy.

I think they know, just can't say the reason. I had friends who worked for wal-mart; they confirmed my thinking. It's a retail tactic.

true. i don't fall for it. i make a list. look for those items only. usually in and out in less than thirty minutes; and i never shop at wal-mart.
@coyoteviper Heh, nice strategy! I admit, I'm a bit of a bargain hunter soooooo - list works only to a certain degree for me.
I hate being around crowds, and the narrow isles seems to close in on me. I leave the bargain hunting to others, though I get it. I have too much stuff here as it is. A life time of gathering. lol. Can't think of anything I want or need anymore. lol.
@coyoteviper I don't blame you! Crowds are a bit much for me too. I usually go shopping during off times and early so I can usually grab some nice stuff when nobody else is there :D
that's a good plan. if i ever think of anything i want or need, then that will be the plan.
