I enjoy creating artwork in Poser, Photoshop CC, Vue, and DAZ Studio. I also have a passion for photography, and have been actively shooting for many years. I've been using Poser since Version 8, and am also learning my way around DAZ Studio. I've been using Adobe Photoshop since version 4. I also use Vue 10. I frequently use my photos as backgrounds, and composite my 3D figures into them.
I have been creating my web comic / graphic novel "The Girls From T.N.A." since fall of 2009, and have been a member of Renderosity since August 2009. I've made a lot of wonderful friends here, and have been inspired every time I visit!
I will soon have a more complete biography, as I am updating everything. In the meantime, have a look around my gallery!
Thanks!
Rod

looking good all relaxed on her outdoor furniture. sunlight is super. and political art for or against and comments have been around a lot longer than art sites. this one artist you mention will not comment i see,
hope you both feel much better.
some may not comment on political work, i won't comment on the AI artists who post 8 full AI work on images each and everyday and 6 photo's of countless plants, ducks, geese, flowers, hills, snow drifts etc. everyday to be high on the charts.stuff like this makes me want to leave. i seldom these days have been using a few AI backgrounds only.
Oh, I know! It's getting to be ridiculous. I just blow past most of those..
Beautiful render and wish I was there :)
Overall Rod, post what you want when you want, its your right and freedom to do so and in saying that I also have a right to see what I wish to see or not see things and that includes what eekdog has stated.....the multi-posters for fame and fortune and for me, anything to do with politics in any way shape or form. Don't want to see or support that and I am not alone in this line of thinking.
Does not mean I will not look at those other works you do now and in the future.....I used my words badly in my description back then I guess.
I do like what Daz has done thou and stopped all political posts to the point that the contributor gets a time out from what I have seen of late.
Enjoy your break and hope Jo gets over COVID asap :)
No problem at all, my friend. I'm always grateful for your visits! 👍
Thanks for the well-wishes! She seems to be doing a little better - it just tires her out. We see our Nurse Practitioner the 9th, so hopefully we'll get this thing knocked out.
Great pin-up! Hopefully Jo will feel better very soon.
If anything, art and politics have been intertwined since time immemorial. Best of luck for Jo.
If she went out to my garden for this she would get soaked to the skin the only sun is the newspaper, and as my daughter has said the only difference is the rain is warmer in what we call the summer She is looking good, but I see there is a space beside her, Me Thinks just pop over and get some hear in to my old bones
Beautiful render, Rod! She has the right idea, and I think we can all use some relaxation. Best wishes to Jo.
Nice image, Rod. I hope that you and your wife's health issues are resolved soon. I'm glad you've decided to refrain from posting politically charged art on this site. It's not becoming. To me, that art is a cheap attempt to get "at-a-boy" points from all the "TDS" inflicted people on this site. It's only rallying a small amount of individuals, anyway. An art gallery is everybody's space and should be a neutral place that welcomes all and not just those that think their "woke' and "left-est" political views are the only ones that matter. Leave the political art to the Editorial Pages. Wishing you and Jo the best !!! And, sorry about your Chiefs . . . . . .
LOL... Oh, that was just too much of a bummer.... In the last few seconds of the game! Arrrg! Ah, well... We still have Taylor in our cheering section! 😁
Hey she is gorgeous and looks in need of some baby oil. Wishing you and Jo the best, things are tense in this world and we all could use a little breather from the realities of life.
Magnificent Work!
Rod,
Here's to Jo getting well again! I started to say, "getting better," but why stop at better? Moving on...
Glad to see you taking time to prioritize. Spend the time well and recover! I am rooting for you, even if you do "go dark," I'm looking forward to seeing you come out "alight!"
And now, my least favorite subject...
There is a reason common social rules include, "Never talk about religion or politics." As for art and politics going hand in hand, those are called the editorial pages and represent a very small part of the graphics industry. Art is a-political; look in any art museum and try to find political satire - it's not there. Not saying you can't do political images, by all means do them. Political opinions belong in the political opinion space. Daz said "NO" outright to political stuff because it was causing a schism in the member base. Put another way, when you make fun of politics, you make fun of the the way someone thinks. That's never funny to the person on the receiving end; it's deeply insulting which is why people take such exception to it. To say a political position is stupid is to say those who think that way are stupid (or need to be pushed off a cliff or [ shot or whatever).
Enough of that! I'm excited to see chapter 8, page 52! if I can help, I'm only to happy to be there for you, my mentor. I just upgraded from a 40" 1080p monitor to a 43" 2160p monitor. 3D work has never been more amazing!
Your friend,
Jim
Thanks, Jim! Looking forward to chatting again soon... Sabbatical is going pretty well (even with all the Dr. visits lately), and I've been doing a lot of research on..... things. I've been doing a lot of thinking as well.. Which is dangerous as hell 😬. I'm wanting to get back into some HTML and update my badly neglected website. Gotta keep those brain-cells active, ya know.
Impressive artwork. Great lighting. Beautiful pin up 👍🙋♂️
My Best to Jo!!
It's a free country, with free speech. All that messy first amendment stuff.
Excellent
I'm with the free speech guys, Rod. Post what you want, even if I don't agree with it. It's your right. However if you keep posting lovely woman like this, well I will always give you a pat on the back. You and the missus been feelin' poorly? I can relate. Get some rest and be well my friends.
