I've been in opera last week and this doublebass laid against a seat during the pause.
The shape and colors seemed iteresting to me and I took this picture.

Belle image, belle composition, bel instrument dont on enrend presque le son chaud et quelque peu envoûtant.
D'accord avec JC pour saluer cette composition ordonnée autour de cet extraordinaire instrument, véritable molosse parmi les cordes de l'orchestre. Un bel effet de répartition de la lumière suivant une diagonale qui sépare la zone sombre de celle en pleine lumière. En un mot, une très belle réussite, cet hommage à la contrebasse !
