As they approached the castle entrance, Ceduin gave a long, high whistle of an unusual note.
Crows took off from the castle's towers.

That's a pretty huge castle for Summer only. It's comforting also to read that the birds are connected to Celduin. At first, seeing them on the image but haven't yet read, I asked to myself if there could be a problem around. (listening celtic musing while reading :) it's perfect! )
Very nice work. The narrative makes it more immersive. Full-size is a must.
