“Miss! Winning the golden dragon of business will not save you from the merciless world of men! I did not hire you for your pretty eyes, but for your skills!” This time the working girl, coming out of her torpor, clearly heard this last sentence pronounced by her boss in a cloud of patchouli. Concentrating again on the data on her screen, she manipulated her mouse, which pushed the pile of her textbooks to the point of unbalancing the dearly won statuette on the edge of her desk. A cup of lukewarm jasmine tea awaited her, which she would not drink.
