As stated above, Sara Rogert, is the long-time girlfriend of team leader and founder, Hogan Oxford, and therefore she is also the longest to be at his side in his adventures as a freelance hero for hire, thus making her the natural choice to be his second-in-command. She is also a highly skilled mechanical engineer, a talent that served the two of them well on their early adventures together when it was just the two of them, and continued to serve well when their little duo grew into the quintet that it is now. And, with the awakening of the super-power to control air elements, including "airwaves" of all kinds which extends to control of machines, via her "Manpower Chip," she has chosen the codename, "Manifold" for herself. The name can mean, "many parts, elements or forms," which is very appropriate to what she can do with her abilities. And, her costume reflects her command the element of air and the temperatures of hot and cold. Her place of origin is, St. Augustine, FL and her sister is from Seattle, WA. This means that each of them was born in those respective two cities after their mother being with different men while living in both of those places and becoming pregnant with both girls. And, as mentioned above, neither relationship lasted, and unfortunately, neither did the relationships between mother and either daughter, which eventually led to the sisters themselves drifting apart only to reunite under more unfortunate circumstances years later. The name of their mother, or the names of their respective fathers, are yet to be revealed. As are the exact details of how Jaymie got to know Harold Lloyd, a.k.a., Mandrake, and got into a relationship with him. Nor, is it known exactly how Jaymie got herself involved in S.P.I.D.E.R.W.E.B., but at least now she's back with her sister as the only family she truly has left, and an extended family of teammates that will keep her on the right track from now on. Also, as noted, she is the half-sister of her teammate, Jaymie Moore, who goes by the codename, "Manipulation," and the two of them couldn't be more different. Sara is a typical bubbly fun-loving blonde, who more or less got the better end of the deal as far as her mutation goes in terms of physical changes, since she didn't' really change all that much outwardly if at all, whereas Jaymie's whole skin color and eye color completely changed. However, even with the physical changes, Jaymie's mutation wasn't as harsh as it could've been, unlike what happened to her boyfriend, Harold, and she did come out pretty well with an incredibly useful power of her own. And, conversely to Sara, Jaymie, has a more serious and reserved personality that isn't exactly pessimistic, but isn't nearly as optimistic as her sister's. If anything it could be said that Jaymie is more realistic and pragmatic, and definitely has a dark side, making the two of them living examples of night and day. Which was one of the very reasons that they had their falling out which caused them to be separated for many years before finding each other again, and Sara's light helping to bring Jaymie out of her darkness and allowing the sisters to become closer than ever, vowing to never be apart again with Sara making sure that Jaymie doesn't slip up again and go too far anymore. And, it's not just her sister that she looks out for now, for Sara truly is the heart of the team, and makes it her duty to keep everyone being positive throughout everything that they've been through, and whatever they might go through in the future together.
