Description
Both Genesis 1 and Victoria 5 strongly disagree with the term "retired." This was pretty interesting. I began by rendering Genesis 1 and Victoria 5 in 3Delight. The background behind them is a Bryce render + Stable Diffusion's imgtoimg. (After spending too much time attempting to get SD to generate something useful at the proper angle so it could be used as a background.) Actually, it was quicker to simply use Bryce to produce an initial image and then run it via imgtoimg. After that, I placed the girls in the background, but it turned out that, despite the depth of field, the background was too colorful and detracted from the main subjects. I did desaturate it to make the girls stand out more. After including the girls, I again ran the image through SD's imgtoimg to give them a more photographic appearance. In Krita, I additionally upscaled the image and made a few little corrections.

They don't look retired to me. ;)
Thank you!
Looking good! :)
Thank you!
Very nicely done
Thank you!
My characters are all Victoria 4's. Since my characters are used in comics and web stories I do not strive for realism. The background info is useful. Just about everyone here uploads an image with no info other than store bought items. This also turned out well.
Thanks! I like V4 as well.
Retired? They certainly are still here, strong as ever. Beautiful work at bringing that back into the forefront.
Thank you! I do think there are many use cases for all generations of models.
There's nothing wrong with them!
