Interesting little tale behind one of Clapton's most beautiful songs, it seems he wrote it while "patiently" waiting for his wife Pattie Boyd (girlfriend at the time) to get ready for a night out, and it took her quite a bit... enough to write a song in fact, hahaha! Anyway, this is the song that started playing in my head the minute I started working on this scene. Me hopes you like it!

I love your interpretation gaius. I wanted the lighting to focus on them without being "too much", so that it would create an intimate atmosphere. And I wanted a bit of ambiguity... are they preparing to go out, or are they already home for the night? Your words confirm that my intent came through.

Clapton may have been waiting for his wife to step out with him but the sense I get from this pair is that they will be staying home... ;) Really nice, intimate feeling to the posing that suggests they are in motion and the camera caught them moving toward a more intimate moment. The light coming over his shoulder and illuminating her face fully is a really nice touch. I'm not so good with intimate moments like this and really admire it when done well. Thanks so much for giving me something so lovely to view.

You know Mollz, I am starting to think that you transform into a little fly and sit on the wall watching me as I work on my scenes, lol! Seriously, it appears you always notice every little thing that I have spent time on and always perceive what was going through my head and what my intentions were as I'm working on it. When I started this the idea was that they were getting ready to go out, but the more I worked on it the more I realised that they were either already back home or wouldn't make it out of the house to begin with. And I really wanted it to look like he surprised her and that it wasn't a static pose, so I'm glad you noticed that. Thank you for taking the time to observe our images so carefully!

The hair is one of Neftis' wonderful M4 hairs, Ricardi. Too bad he isn't making any for l'Homme, I always loved his male styles. Luckily they adapt quite well to LH.
