Description
A moderate 3-mile hike on Trillium Gap Trail will get you here to Grotto Falls. After the falls, the trail continues up to Mount Le Conte in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, and actually runs behind the 25 foot high Grotto Falls. The part of the trail leading to the falls meanders through an old-growth hemlock forest and has a very magical and mystical feeling to it. A great hike!
