Description
In Paradise Dante cannot be led by Virgil who has not been baptized so here he meets Beatrice who will be his guide. Beatrice the woman he ideally loved in Florence is already dead when he writes the Divina Commedia.
I have adapted an old image that lent itself well to Beatrice's vision, partly imagined as Venus partly as a precious soul placed in the space between the seven skies.
