Nice scene. "Traditionally" you give objects room to move into the scene, rather than have them crowding the exit lane. Did you have a reason to have them almost out of the frame?
The positioning was intentional for a number of reasons. The unicorns are not the leader object into a broader scene, the scenery is just as important and the unicorns work to create a sense of mystery around that scenery while adding a little narrative too. The two figure shapes are also working to draw down the scene leading outward and to the right and then back again to the scenery, hopefully leaving viewers with a sense of wondering as to where the figures are travelling to while appreciating where they have been.
