Very dramatic image and sends a chill up my back.
Great and powerful art
great picture
This is a powerful scene. I would like to read this book even though Nazi literature is very disturbing to me.
marvelous
Well done.
What a great cover!
Great cover, emotional. Great work
very dramatic cover ! splendid and talentuous !!!
emotional!
A very troubling and poignant image. Immediately one feels concerned for the little girl -- the dirt on her clothes and body betraying the travail she must have gone through -- as she is thrust into a gritty and emotionally cold world far more terrible than any Big Bad Wolf or evil witch from any fairy tale. Very effective for a book cover.
Thank you ... It was an emotional scene for me to do. The author tells me the book is based on a true story ... his grandmother's experience. She's the little girl.
