Product Notes
May I present a socket set, sockets 8, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 17, 19, 21, 22, 24 & a 14mm plug socket. Along with that, there is a wrench, extension bars and a Tommy bar adapter. Furthermore there is a rigged socket set case which all the sockets go into.
I'm afraid I went rather over the top, and the engraving on the sockets is in mesh, not texture.
To use: drop the wrench into the scene, then the desired socket. They will default to a position where they may be parented to one another in the correct positions. If you want an extension bar, drop that in like the socket, parent to the wrench or Tommy bar, and move the wrench 12.5 or 25cm (if the longer morph is 100%) in Y, drop in the socket and then parent that to the extension bar. The lot can then be moved as one piece.
I hope it's useful. It took a lot of time and effort to model each bit.
The normal and displacement textures for the case are shared with my running track freebie.

Hope you all find it useful.
Thank you so much.
Very generous to share, after all the work it took you, thanks !
most awesome. thank you. my little blue engineer will love these.
Thanks for your comments, I just hope it'll be useful every now & again.
Thank you!
Thank you very much for this socket set! Just what my garage needs.
Thanks. Yes, it did take some time to do. I was working off and on at it for about 3 months. Admittedly, did a lot else too. The case was the biggest task, especially getting all the sockets in the right place.
Bet that took some work....once again a prop nobody thinks of and everybody can use at one time or another.....
Thank you. The models of each bit did take quite a time to do
That's a great looking model, thank you so much for sharing it with us!
Hope it's useful for everyone.
Great! Thank you very much
Incredible, thanks so much
OTT is my jam, very well done indeed!
Thank you for your kind comments. This has, undoubtedly, been a much more complicated modelling job than I had expected. I also ended up writing a 300 line de-triangulate method for my modeller to reduce the number of sharp triangles when converting the model from SolidWorks to obj via .stl. Admittedly only the case benefitted due to how long it took to get the code to work.
Thanks you guys, very much. They look as real as real!
Fantastic, thank you!
This is awesome! I have that exact set sitting on the table behind me. Thank you so much for the effort and generosity.

I have been asked a question how the Tommy Bar is used. There is an example in the WIP image here: (https://www.renderosity.com/gallery/items/3203499/tommy-bar-in-use)
